Sometimes very strong currents are present in the area.

Average Depth: 25 metres
Maximum Depth: Beyond 70 metres

Certification Required: BSAC Sports Diver, PADI Advanced Open Water or equivalent

The Dive:
This small island was once used for target practice during the Second World War and now the island is a nature reserve were permission is required to dive in the area. It is not hard to get a permit but the boat being used will require having a commercial license to carry passengers.

The water surrounding the island is littered with bombs and ammunition and a diver should exercise caution, staying away from munitions.
