Location of Site:
In the south of Malta, west of Il-Mara.
Type of Dive: Boat Dive
Conditions:
Exposed to the North West and Southerly winds. Slight surface current exist with prior winds from the North.
Average Depth: 15 metres
Maximum Depth: 40 metres
Certification Required:
BSAC Sports Diver, PADI Advanced Open Water or equivalent
The Dive:
The rocky bottom is partly characterized by large weed covered rocks. Being approximately 15 – 20 metres deep it drops down to a depth of 40 metres. A plateau is located west of the cape in a depth of 3m with its sides dropping down steeply to a depth of 40 metres. Numerous cavities and hollows house different species of fish.
