Ideally dived with a North East or Easterly wind.
Average Depth: 25 - 60metres
Certification Required: BSAC Sport diver, PADI Advanced Open Water or equivalent
The Dive:
Boat anchors in 34 metres in front of a sissure in the rock face. The dive can be done on either side. Taking a Easterly route towards Blata tal-Melh one encounters large boulders strewn on the seabed, further out in a southerly direction one comes to a drop that easily reaches 60metres. If you head in a westerly direction a number of large boulders can be seen at a depth of 34-35meters, the seabed levels out at this depth but if you keep heading out you reach a drop that goes down to 60metres and more. Amongst the numerous boulders one can spot Groupers , Sea Bream. In the open sea barracuda have also been seen.
