The water is invariably clear. The bottom starts at a depth of 30 metres, dropping down to 50 metres and more. The steep coastal rocks form an impressive underwater wall characterized by numerous cavities and housing marine life. In times past at a depth of 50 metres one could find Tope Sharks which are harmless if not disturbed. Another attraction are the shrimps.
A sailing vessel with Arabs on board is said to have sunk here.
