Location of Site:
Close to Ahrax Point
Type of Dive:
This is reachable best with an off roader and walking a distance of 90 metres over needle sharp rocks and crevices.
Condition:
Worth the effort due to its location but due to the heavy boat traffic in the area especially during the summer season a diver must be extremely cautious when diving this site.
Average Depth: 25-30 metres
Maximum Depth: 36 metres
Certification Required:
BSAC Ocean Diver, PADI Open Water or equivalent.
The Dive:
This site is composed of a number of massive rocks and boulders creating various swim-throughs. Amberjacks and eagle rays are often seen here and the occasional small grouper can be found in deeper waters were the boulders give way to rubble and sand.
