The Dive:
The reef is exposed as it lies in the open sea in a direction north east from St Paul’s Island. The boat should have an echo sounder so that the drop off can easily be located. Once the anchor is dropped the divers can descent down the anchor line and dive along the wall of the reef.
The reef shelves down and the divers can use the shallow part to decompress at the end of the dive. This is an interesting reef with numerous crevices for one to explore. Although fish life is not so profuse if one is lucky on the day, Meagre, the Dusky Grouper, Black Tailed Bream, Grouper may be spotted.
