Join us for the first talk at our new clubhouse, featuring Professor Timmy Gambin, a leading maritime archaeologist from the University of Malta and head of the UCHU.  

Professor Gambin will take us through the story of the B24 Liberator bomber, a WWII aircraft that ditched near Marsaxlokk in 1943 after an engine failure during a bombing raid over Reggio Calabria. Discovered in 2015, the wreck remains remarkably well-preserved, offering valuable insights into wartime aviation history and underwater archaeology.
