The Dive:
In this area one will find a cavern, on entering at 18 metres look on the ledges on both sides for shrimp and lobster. The walls are covered with colourful sponges of all types, and there are large rocks beneath. About 60m from the entrance there is a large, dark, vertical shaft or chimney, about 10 m in diameter . This takes you from about 15 m up to a cavern . There is a large pocket of clean air so you can surface inside if you wish.
On exiting with the cavern floor at 30m , you can explore the large rocky area where most of the larger fish will be found. The rocky reef slopes down to 50 m with boulders at the bottom. Fish life here includes dusky grouper, moray eels, dentex and Mediterranean lobster.
Turning right (East) the reef wall steps down gradually, a shallower alternative . Turning left (West) there is another 10m wide cavern about 50 m away with the sea floor at 30m and roof at 12 m below sea level.
