Presentation of a dissertation by Arthur Gauci, about SCUBA breathing gas practices in Maltese dive centres with a focus on compliance with EN standards and gas monitoring.
• The study took a mixed-methods approach utilising survey questionnaire and physical air sample testing on site.
• We will discuss the key findings of the study and with an in depth analysis on how these relate to the recreational diver
• The goal of study was to identify improvements in gas filling and monitoring
• The aim of this presentation is to give a scientific overview of the situation and initialising a healthy and constructive discussion.
