Today marks the first anniversary of the passing of Dione Galdes, who for many years was one of the club’s primary instructors, helping many current and past members have their first breaths underwater before further advancing their training in underwater skills and assisting with equipment needs.
Yesterday at the club, in the presence of close family members we have presented and installed a picture in his memory. Thanks to all those who attended.
Tonight from 6.30pm some members on their own initiative are also going to have a gathering and weather permitting a dive at Cirkewwa in his memory.
Rest in peace Dione – you will not be forgottten.
