The Dive:
A reef about 12m deep and about 30m long extends west (WNW) from the foot of the arch. Boat can easily anchor on this. Between this reef and the wall it drops to 18m and there’s a nice pass through. Following in towards the valley leads into a large cave and an airlock, very nice at end of dive or for inexperienced divers.
Straight out into the blue (about 30 to 35m) from where the boat anchors usually a shoal of barracudas is seen.
Deep divers best go East towards Marsalforn and it’s a wall that drops to 50 and more. Very nice.
West of the valley there’s another very nice cave in line with where the boat anchors. This cave too offers great scenery and is very photogenic. Further west, the wall drops to about 18 or 20 and the sea bed slopes down, boulders etc but deep here not so interesting.
