Who is the Calypso Sub-Aqua Club?
We are a club of divers for divers, catering for divers from trainees to advanced technical divers.
If you’re not a diver yet, come and join us to teach you your skills in a non-pressured environment. But if you forgot how long ago your initial training was, and you’d like to get back in the water, let us warmly get you back in it!
The Club has been established in 1970 as the first purely SCUBA diving club. Since inception, it has been affiliated with the British Sub-Aqua Club and we follow its progressive training program, but our divers have trained with too many to list other diving training organisations.
Let us make it clear, we are NOT a commercial dive centre but licensed with the MTA to carry out diving training and activities (Ref: DIVE/119). We are a registered voluntary organisation (Ref: VO 0965/14) and also a registered sport organisation (Ref: SM/0/DIVE0041) in the Maltese Islands.
We accept new trainees for BSAC training, but also new members who have trained with PADI, SSI, CMAS and many others. Get in touch with us to join in!
